This volume deals with issues arising from the European perspective. In this way, it focuses on the European Union, the European Convention on Human Rights and the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe. The American landscape integrates to add experience and insights. Levels and sectors that are intertwined, competencies that have to be assigned, collisions that should be avoided, etc. Europe is in the process and religion is an important factor. The different levels and sectors of the Law related to religion have a common responsibility in finding accommodation to the religious needs of the people.
